If you are experiencing financial difficulties, or are in arrears or at risk of going into arrears for any reason, it is important that you engage with us as soon as possible so that we can try to assist you to resolve your financial difficulties
We recognise that each SME that is anticipating or experiencing financial difficulties needs to be considered on a case-by-case basis. If you are an SME experiencing financial difficulties or otherwise at risk of going into arrears, it is important that you immediately contact and work with your Bank of Scotland, Relationship Manager to try and address the situation as soon as possible.
We want to support you in identifying options to help ease your financial difficulties and may be able to assist in identifying an approach to deal with your financial difficulties, your overall debt and your ability to make repayments.

Information Booklet for Borrowers in Financial Difficulties
We have prepared an ‘Information Booklet for Borrowers in Financial Difficulties’ (the “Information Booklet”) for customers who are micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, as defined in the SME Regulations1, who are anticipating or experiencing financial difficulties.
