Cash Account

No planned overdrafts or cheque books. The Cash Account is a basic banking account that offers free everyday banking.

Features:

  • No charge for everyday transactions when you’re in credit.
  • A Visa debit card so you don’t have to carry cash when you’re out shopping.
  • Internet and Telephone Banking

Please check carefully to ensure the Cash Account suits you as it doesn’t include:

  • a planned overdraft,
  • a cheque book,
  • credit interest,
  • the ability to use cash machines other than Lloyds TSB, Bank of Scotland, Halifax and Sainsburys cash machines.

Account opening is subject to our assessment of your circumstances and to you meeting all eligibility conditions.  

You have to register for Internet Banking and Telephone Banking.  Terms and conditions apply.

You'll need to be able to confirm the following:

  • I do not have a current account with Bank of Scotland.
  • I am aged 18 or over.
  • I am a UK resident.
  • I am an EU national OR I have permission to stay in the UK for at least 12 months.
