Following recent improvements, Internet Banking is better, more secure and easier to use than ever before.
Bringing you better statements
You can now see statements for the last two years for your savings and current accounts. Even better, you can search them too. If you have a Bank of Scotland Credit Card, you can now see a 'mini-statement' on the ‘Your Accounts' page and see statements for the last 3 months - making it even easier to keep track of your money.
Bringing you better information with mobile alerts
We have added alerts so that you can avoid going over your overdraft limit by mistake. If you are a current account customer, you can now register for our free mobile alerts service. Simply choose the alerts you want and we will send you the information you need:
- Weekly balance advice alerts. Keep an eye on your balance with a weekly text.
- Limit alerts. Find out if you are approaching or over an agreed overdraft limit.
- Low balance alerts. Know when your balance drops below an amount that you choose.
- High balance alerts. Know when your balance goes above an amount that you set.
Bringing you better payments
We have made a number of changes and improvements to help you create and send payments:
- We have made some improvements to make payments to Bank of Scotland Credit Cards go via Faster Payments so you can now pay your bills much more quickly.
- You can now search for companies by name when setting up a payment to pay regular household bills.
- For added peace of mind, we now send you a text confirming any new payment that is set up on your accounts.
Bringing you better control and personalisation
You can now take control of your Internet Banking experience to make it better match your needs. You can now rename your accounts so that they show with a name of your choice. For example: ‘Joint Account' or ‘Holiday savings' - whatever you prefer.
Bringing you better security
We have made your Internet Banking service more secure than ever before. We may now call you when setting up payments to new people or companies. In doing this, we can be certain that you want the payment to be made, and you will be more confident that your accounts are safe.
